" Cielito Querido Café is a Latin American reinvention of the coffeehouse experience. It is a place that surprises, confronts and engages all senses through its space, aroma, taste, color and history. Drawing their inspiration from Mexican history, the designers incorporated the joyful colors, symbolic language and illustrated graphics of the late 19th century into the striking interior. The Latin American sign-maker´s trade is celebrated through the display of product labels from old grocery and general strokes, generating an evocative graphic language belonging to a culture that is spectacularly rich in history. In this unique space, however, that past has been radically reinvented in a joyful, poetic, nostalgic, celebration of contemporary Mexican life."
